Hansel Porras Garcia is a queer Cuban-born artist and filmmaker, based in Miami. His works explore the Hispanic multiculturalism of Miami, focusing on the Cuban diaspora, and examining themes such as immigration, family, and identity. His micro-budget debut feature film Febrero, funded by Oolite Arts, won the Knight Made in Miami Award at the Miami Film Festival in 2023.
Robert Colom is a writer-producer, film curator, and graphic artist from Miami, whose work illuminates stories of Florida and the Latin American diaspora. His narrative work has been awarded at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, Tribeca, Berlinale, and Miami Film Festival, and has been supported by EFM, Film Independent, and New Orleans Film Society. He is the founding director of Cinemóvil, Miami’s free mobile repertory cinema, and is a programmer for Third Horizon Film Festival.
