2023 FILM FEST KNOX Winner to Receive Theatrical Release

Peak Season, the winner of FILM FEST KNOX’s inaugural American Regional Cinema competition, has unveiled its distribution plans, including theatrical distribution from Regal.

Loevner and Kanter commented in a joint statement: “We set out to capture millennial ennui the way Before Sunrise portrays gen X angst and the Big Chill taps into boomer alienation. We can’t wait for audiences to discover this funny, heartfelt film.”

Shaked Berenson, Entertainment Squad’s CEO, added: “The film skillfully blends romance and drama with satire, addressing significant issues that will resonate with cinema goers.” 

Peak Season will be released in Regal and LOOK Cinemas locations nationwide. LOOK Cinemas’ Director of Film Programming, Owen Pickette, commented: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Entertainment Squad on a theatrical release and can’t wait for audiences across the country to experience this heartfelt and poignant tale on the big screen.”
